{"id":40,"date":"2024-06-29T21:52:07","date_gmt":"2024-06-29T21:52:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unionfront.org\/en\/?page_id=40"},"modified":"2026-03-15T01:59:04","modified_gmt":"2026-03-15T01:59:04","slug":"%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b1%d8%a6%d9%8a%d8%b3%d9%8a%d8%a9","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/unionfront.org\/en\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-page\" data-elementor-id=\"40\" class=\"elementor elementor-40\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e8ade67 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"e8ade67\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3633303 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3633303\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\" data-wplink-edit=\"true\">\u00a0<\/a><\/h5><h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\"><strong>We, the undersigned<\/strong>, representing the elected trade union leaders, the steering committees, and the preparatory committees of recognized professional bodies,<\/a><\/h5><h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\"><strong>declare the commencement of \u00a0a Trade Union Front to stop the war and build democracy.<\/strong><\/a><\/h5><h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\">We have begun working toward the establishment of a broader <strong>Civil Front<\/strong> that \u00a0include the steering and preparatory committees of recognized professional bodies, resistance committees, civil society organizations, initiatives, official diaspora bodies representing Sudanese abroad, national and academic figures, as well as political parties and alliances that seek to \u00a0end the war and build democracy in Sudan.<\/a><\/h5><h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\"><strong>Objectives of the Trade Union Front:<\/strong><\/a><\/h5><ul><li><h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\">To <strong>unify Sudanese civil forces<\/strong> and exert pressure to immediately stop the war and complete the goals of the glorious December Revolution.<\/a><\/h5><\/li><li><h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\">To <strong>exclude \u00a0the military institution<\/strong> from the economy and political life, ensure its return to the barracks, dissolve the Rapid Support Forces and all parallel armies and armed militias, and establish a single <strong>national army based on a patriotic doctrine<\/strong>, adopting the principle of reform as a fundamental mechanism.<\/a><\/h5><\/li><li><h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\">To <strong>inquire into \u00a0all crimes and human rights violations<\/strong> committed before and after the war that began on April 15, 2023, and to bring those responsible to national and international justice.<\/a><\/h5><\/li><li><h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\">To <strong>urgently address the living crisis<\/strong> by developing an economic program that tackles Sudan\u2019s economic and social collapse, including the restoration of health and education services and rebuilding what the war has destroyed.<\/a><\/h5><\/li><li><h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\">To <strong>preserve the sovereignty and unity of the Sudanese state and its institutions<\/strong>, and to renounce all forms of racism, regionalism, and tribalism.<\/a><\/h5><\/li><\/ul><h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\">The Trade Union Front will begin \u00a0<strong>signatures<\/strong> <strong>campaign <\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>among \u00a0trade union, professional, civil, and political bodies<\/strong> to agree on a <strong>flexible organizational structure<\/strong> that coordinates among these entities, formulates policies, and makes the necessary decisions to achieve the Front\u2019s objectives through peaceful means.<\/a><\/h5><h5><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\">The Front\u2019s work will begin with the signing of recognized trade union and professional bodies, after which <strong>membership and coordination<\/strong> will be opened to other civil entities mentioned above.
